MASSAGE

A) DEEP TISSUE Massage | 60 min total body for WOMEN | €70

Release tension Deep relaxation! This is a treat dedicated to those women who want to take care of themselves.

After a short assessment, depending on the individual needs we might work on specific fascia (muscles and connective tissues) with a Thai Massage on the floor (active movements and pressure) and breathing exercises. We can decide together to skip the floor-work and move directly on the massage table for a total body massage to release tension and work on grounding and relaxation.  Toward the end of the massage, I give Reiki and Yoga Nidra.

The session is held in silence, and it’s hosted in a soothing environment with dimmed lights, candles, and soft music. A cup of tea and homemade vegan treats are provided. 

Location: a cozy indoor jungle surrounded by the element of water in a quiet area of the Zeeburgereiland (next to Ijburg), Amsterdam.

B) PRENATAL Massage | 60 min of self-love during pregnancy | €75

This prenatal massage aims to relax muscle tension, reduce joint aches and migraines, and improve lymphatic and blood circulation through mild pressure applied to the muscle groups of the body. The massage doesn't include hands-on the belly/baby. Suitable for all trimesters (recommended starting after the 12th week). 

We either work side-lying on the massage table and/or sitting on a chair. Tables that provide a hole in which the uterus can fit may not be reliable and can still apply pressure to the abdomen, or cause uncomfortable stretching of the uterine ligaments; therefore I don't use that option.

C) YOGA THERAPY for mobility and recovery (+ Massage) | €85

WHY YOGA THERAPY? a) physical conditions (injury, back pain, frozen shoulders, hypermobility, hips replacement, fibromyalgia, obesity, insomnia, arthritis, hernias, musculoskeletal problems) b) mental/emotional conditions (stress, depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue, panic attacks, traumas, burn-out, eating disorders, post-natal depression).

HOW DOES IT WORK? I will spend quite some time prior to the session studying your needs through an intake I send you after you booked a session. The first session starts with a physical assessment in person. Then we work with specific movements and exercises for strengthening, elongating, repositioning, and supporting the musculoskeletal system, and soothing the symptoms of your problem. We then practice breath exercises (pranayama), guided meditations, and final massage as gentle and specialized ways of regulating the nervous system, fostering the return of awareness of the body, and promoting behavioral changes.
I end the session with suggestions and homework.
